Board of directors

The Board of Directors (BOD) of the Committee for Human Rights in Latin America (CDHAL) is composed of an odd number of directors (number not limited by statutes and regulations).

It includes executive positions and administrative posts simple. The executive positions are: president, secretary and treasury. There are also single posts without predefined tasks.

The Presidency is responsible for coordinating the activities of CA and represent the organization with the public and partner agencies.

The person occupying the post of secretary must deal tracking records and keep a copy. It must also ensure that reports year-end are in line for presentation at a general meeting to be approved by the assembly members.

The person in charge of the cash required to ensure compliance with accounting rules in the bookkeeping and budgets and ensure CDHAL with the coordinator of compliance of the final budget also presented at the meeting.

The CA is responsible for determining the strategic direction of the organization and ensuring the smooth overall operation, including hiring employees. Administrators have more a function of representation with other organizations and can broaden the network of CDHAL.
