Caminando

The Caminando is a thought driving and social engagement magazine. Its main objective is to offer a critical view of the major stakes concerning life in Latin America.  Enriched with original articles produced by the editorial staff and their partners as well as translations of chosen articles, Caminando is the only French publication in America dealing with news from Latin America.

This magazine was first published in February of 1980 and was the first tool developped by the CDHAL to bring awareness to the Quebec population about the repression and injustices in Central and South America. Since 2005, the editorial staff has decided to include articles concerning fights for human rights and autodetermination led by not only Latin American communities but also Canadian communities in order to show the similarities between the issues in the South as well as here in North America.
