Our logo

The Committee for Human Rights in Latin America's (CDHAL) new logo is the result of a long process of reflexion for which we are very proud.

This logo represents the CDHAL's vision, which is a world where human rights are put first. The feminine representation on the logo symbolizes the the CDHAL's preferrential choice to always aim to defend the most economically and politically  marginalized populations (indigenous, women, peasants, etc.).

We made sure that the continent representing the Americas was shown in the background of the logo, as whether from the South or the North, we all live in the same continent and should be in solidarity and unite each struggle.

The dynamic side of the logo, which we can see in the woman's dancing feet, represents the dynamism embodied by the all the CDHAL team in the accomplishement of its work.

Finally, the colours chosen represent the earth and the environment, two key issues of this third millenuium, and directly related to life itself. The green recalls hope; hope of a better world and more just world.
