Our mission

The CDHAL is an independent organization that participates in campaigns for justice and freedom in Latin America by working to promote and defend human rights, disseminating information on the political, social, economic and cultural life, encouraging the Canadian and Quebec governments to adopt an international policy that encourages respect for human rights and, finally, publicly denouncing the impunity that prevails in Latin America.

The accomplishment of our mission is done in 3 ways:

  • Through advocacy and commitment, as the 2007-2008 campaign on Collective power from south to north!
